- The oil pan threads are stripped and vehicle is not holding oil. The only thing holding the drain plug is was RTV. – once seal was broken, could not hold oil. Vehicle needs to be taken either back to the original place to have repaired or somewhere that can replace the oil pan. CUSTOMER DID NOT BRING VEHICLE HERSELF. CUSTOMER WHO BOUGHT IT WANTS TO DRIVE IT BACK TO THE PLACE THAT DID THE OIL CHANGE – ADVISED AGAINST IT AND WE REQUESTED THE VEHICLE BE TOWED. CUSTOMER HERE WANTS TO DRIVE IT OUT – SAYS OTHER PLACE IS APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES AWAY. WE WILL HAVE TO FILL WITH OIL, BUT IT WILL NOT HOLD THE OIL. BY SIGNING THIS – CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THE DANGER AND BY SIGNING THIS PAPER, DOES NOT HOLD OUR SHOP RESPONSIBLE. CUSTOMER HERE DECIDED TO GET TOWED OUT SHUROD LANE
